I have been working in hair salons in the SF/ Bay Area since 1987. Over the years, I haven taken a breaks from doing hair to record and tour the world, playing bass in my critically acclaimed indie rock band, Imperial Teen. As long as I can remember music and hair have been my passions. I love to take an idea and run with it, creating something new and different. My aesthetic is modern with a nod and wink to the retro. I have completed advanced training in haircolor with Aveda and Goldwell, haircutting in NYC with Bumble and Bumble and hairstyling also in NYC with Oribe Canales of Oribe. I continue to perform and record occasionally with Imperial Teen and in my free time I volunteer at FAAS animal shelter here in Alameda and go on glamping excursions with my poodles in my little vintage travel trailer.

After nearly 17 years owning Fringe Salon (Hayes Valley) in SF, I am ready to bring my talents to the Island where I have been a resident for a decade plus! With 20+ years of experience, I get to share my knowledge that started with my education at Vidal Sassoon and then continued at the first flagship California Bumble and Bumble salon. I am a certified Goldwell colorist and have a solid Framesi Italia background. I love to razor cut and can deliver a Deva curl cut as well. I am honest with whomever ends up in my chair and will offer my most educated suggestions. I love what I do. I welcome you to come and visit me here at Honey.
